I rely completely on hearsay and automated social networking alerts to tell me when a birthday is and who is celebrating it. There are very few other ways for me to remember. The drive up to Madison this past weekend was a lot of fun. It was good to get out of Chicago for a day, and also to see some art. Despite the ridiculous crowds, we found some cool stuff.
Admittedly, my main reason for going was to find out how my collab graphic for the art fair's shirts turned out. And I did, in fact, find out.
While in Madison Wisconsin this weekend, e spotted a fun "musical instrument" in a store called Pop Deluxe. Always one to enjoy quirky little instruments, I snatched it up.
Since learning about last.fm's scrobbling feature, I've become obsessed with sharing what I listen to with some faceless database. But the actual last.fm website makes me nauseous. Let me explain.
Is this a cookie or a hipstery new band name? I guess it could go either way!
